MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Vision. It is the only thing that separates a photographer from the pack. The ability to think differently... to see differently. It is hard to articulate it without catch words like candid and photojournalistic, ones that every photographer seems to use to describe their style or approach. But I am going to try.I like to think of the photos I take as collections of contrast. Like the personality of your best friend or fiance there is never definitive way to describe them. You know them so well you know they can be both a dreamer and realistic or an organized mess all at the same time. Their personalities like my photos come together to form a collection of who they are, not necessarily simple. My style isn't all fun or intimate, or photojournalistic. The photos are a collection of the forementioned and more. I will pose brides to look their best, but sometimes their best is right beside their groom with a smile that can't be posed. It is all individual, circumstantial and contrasting. Like a person my approach is multi- faceted and best too be seen rather than described.
